We are in East Bloomington, a primarily residential area with tree-lined streets and numerous parks and trails. Just across the street, we can get our groceries and essentials at Cub Foods and Pharmacy. A variety of casual eateries are within a walk: Shantytown Grill, a neighborhood favorite serving classic pub fare, Sawatdee Thai cuisine, Davanni’s Pizza, Perkins and of course Mall of America https://www.mallofamerica.com/ is just 3 miles away.
Bikers can pedal down Lyndale to the Minnesota River or up to Centennial Lakes Park or over to the Hyland area.
Getting around the Twin Cities is easy with the Metro Transit system. A Lyndale Avenue bus stops just outside our community, and the Mall of America Transit Station is just an 8-minute drive away. From there, we can hop on the Blue Line light rail and arrive in downtown Minneapolis in under 30 minutes. For travels further afield, Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport is about 10 miles north via I-494.
